This sounds accurate to me, as I live in California myself and am aware of how much energy saving many of us have gotten into. I just recently got an energy efficient air conditioning unit and just started buying CFL bulbs. Our state is running out of money, so we want to save any way we can, and this way, we can go green at the same time.
